Love
... is a four-legged word
|
about
Belle ...
We are
absolutely "over the moon" excited to have little Belle come and join our
family. Heartfelt thanks to Nancy Gagnon of
Buff Cap Australian Shepherds in
Connecticut and Loretta King (co-breeder) in New England, for entrusting us with this special little
girl. Watch for Belle coming to a conformation ring near you soon.
That's
it! That's the look she always has.
I'm a character, I'm a clown, I'm a love.
Always smiling, always focused,
always a "StinkerBelle"

A beautiful setting for a
lovely photo of our first ASCA points, Winners Bitch at the Tri-State show
in Lewiston, ID. Thank you to Judge Linda Riedel
(Good thing I got the
judge's memo about
wearing a mint green suit)

Yahooooo
Belle. We had a spectacular weekend in Medicine Hat, May 8-9-10.
On Friday, under Mr. Michael Hill, Belle took Winners Bitch, Best of
Winners, BEST OF BREED (over Specials), and Best Puppy in Breed. The
"cherry on the sundae" was a very exciting GROUP TWO placement. On
Saturday, under Mr. Tom Nesbitt, our girl went Best of Winners, Best Puppy
in Breed, and finished her Canadian Championship with points to spare (all
wins were 2 and 3-point Majors), just days after her nine-month birthday.
Thanks so much to both of these gentleman for finding our girl and for
their wonderful compliments. As always, special thanks to Tammy for
doing such a great job with Belle!

Off to
the EKC show in Edmonton this weekend, where I managed to calm my nerves
and handle my own dog! Belle was obviously waiting for Mommy to show
her as she went Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex on Friday and
Sunday, the youngest girl entered. She showed like a dream and came
away with her first points.

Thanks to
Judges Mrs. Rosemary Shoreman on Friday
and Mr. John Rowton on Sunday.
Good luck
getting her back now, Tammy
We're on a roll and just getting started !

Belle
competed in her first ASCA show held by the Australian Shepherd Fanciers
of Alberta in Camrose, March 2009, in the 6-9 month class. She
came away with Reserve Winners Bitch from a lovely group of girls (a
4-point Major). Thank you to judge Sharon Derrick and, as always, Tammy Sawatsky for showing "our baby" so beautifully.

The same
weekend, March 30, Belle made us very proud when she took Best Puppy in
Breed (over Puppy Special), under judge Guy Jeavons. She also went
Reserve Winners Bitch (CNASA Booster).
