about Capri ...
I am soooo excited to add another Buff Cap baby to the family here at Casselcreek.  This little gal comes from a pedigree chock full of Champions, and she has the attitude to prove it! 

Her name, Capri, is Italian for playful, whimsical, and popular.  From what we've seen so far, she'll have no trouble living up to that handle. 

Once again, heartfelt thanks to my dear friend and valued mentor, Nancy Gagnon of Buff Cap Australian Shepherds. 

Following her ASCA debut in March, watch for Capri to be hitting the rings this summer.

This is Capri's brother, Houston ... Not too hard to see the family resemblance there!

 

After a whirlwind trip from Connecticut to Alberta, Capri arrived at the Calgary International Airport Wednesday night, like the little pistol Nancy & Francine warned me she was ... and she didn't disappoint!  Off to Camrose and our big semi-annual ASCA show on Friday where the very untrained Capri in the hands of the very skilled Auntie Tammy, made her ASCA debut in non-regular 2-4 month puppy, and proudly came away with a Best of Opposite Sex Puppy rosette.  Thanks to ASCA Breeder Judge, Marie Murphy, for making Capri's first experience in the ring, such a positive one.

Such a clown, unbelievable spirit, my face hurt from smiling and my tummy from laughing!  This one's gonna be fun!
